I have an advantage over you because when I started Cheer Up Marketing, I had a Business degree and over ten years’ marketing experience. I knew how to create a strategy to develop and market my services.
Straightaway, I brought in the money I needed to match my corporate salary - hooray!
But I ended up working way more hours than I was happy with - not cool.
I was up working on client projects at 6am before my daughter woke up and some days I was logging off at 10pm, which meant I was too wired to sleep. And although I was paying my bills - I found it impossible to hit my next goal: £5k months.
